Who is responsible
Your data is processed by Eardopes B.V. (Zuid Hollandlaan 7, 2596 AL Den Haag, KvK 94072310), the seller on this site, together with brand owner Grupo Audio B.V. (Kingsfordweg 151, 1043 GR Amsterdam, KvK 94068100).
What we process, and why
- Orders. Name, address, email and your order contents, processed by Shopify to deliver what you bought and handle payment (payment details go to the payment provider, never to us). Legal basis: performing our contract with you. Kept as long as tax law requires (7 years for invoice data).
- Fit feedback. If you bought eartips, we email you once to ask whether they fit. One click records your answer, linked to your order, so our fit advice gets more honest. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe; if you opt out we store only an anonymized fingerprint of your address to honor it.
- Fit finder searches. What you type into the finder is logged without any link to you, so we learn which earbud models to add.
- The upvote list. Votes for requested models are stored under an anonymous fingerprint, never your identity. If you ask us to email you when a model's eartips are released, we store that address for exactly that purpose and mail you once when it happens. We don't use it for anything else, and one email to support@foamigo.com removes it. Legal basis: your request.
- Analytics. Only after you accept it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and Shopify's own visit statistics to see how the site is used. The Google tag itself loads with every permission switched off (Google's Consent Mode); until you accept, it stores no cookies and sends only cookieless signals that cannot identify you. Decline and it stays that way; the shop works identically.
- Ad measurement. Only if you allow it separately in the cookie banner, we use the Google Ads tag to measure which of our ads lead to a visit or a purchase, so we spend our advertising budget on ads that actually help people find eartips that fit. You can allow analytics and still decline this. Legal basis: your consent, withdrawable any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
What we don't do
No selling of data, no advertising profiles beyond the ad measurement you explicitly allowed, no marketing emails you didn't ask for, no data outside what the shop needs to function.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, object to processing, or take your data elsewhere: one email to support@foamigo.com. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Third parties we rely on
Shopify (shop, checkout and, only with consent, visit statistics), PostNL and Spring GDS (delivery), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database, EU region), Google Analytics (only with consent), Google Ads (ad measurement, only with your separate consent). Each processes only what their job requires.
